Topcad shocks!!!!! I don't see too many post on topcad shocks so I figured I'd share my experience , the shocks come oil less , so I went with a 15w like most crawlers and I guess these shocks just aren't meant for this light of weight oil because they leaked like a mofo and I chose not to install the bump stops for more travel which is apparently not an option for these shocks , the knurled part of the shock body locks up on the lower spring retainer , I guess if use the bump stops and use a heavy weight oil these shocks might work for you but I definitely would go with an American made shock Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Re: Topcad shocks!!!!! I have TopCad shocks and I use 30 Wt oil with green slime. Still leaking but not worse then 2 sets of Axial shocks I had before. |
Re: Topcad shocks!!!!! Proper bleeding encourages less shock leakage as well. And unless there is a volume compensating bladder or foam sponge up top, most will need to have some air in them. |

Ha yeah those stock shocks are something else ! Sent from my iPhone |
And is it just my scx10 or does it seem like you have to change shocks , steering linkage suspension links and drive shafts just to be able to properly drive the damn thing . Don't get me wrong I like the upgrades it just seems from such a recognized company and a $400 truck you would expect more Sent from my iPhone |

Well it looks like Green slime is What I'm lacking , I like the way the topcads work , their just leaky little SOB's , |
Thanks for all the input guys.... Also what about the drive shafts? MIP ? |
Re: Topcad shocks!!!!! MIP, WB8, WB8 HD I don't like metal shafts because of weight. Core reinforced WB8 did not fail me yet. Traxxas T/E-Max shafts is a good idea, it requires longer transmission output on spur end. |

But I still think it's an awesome kit or RTR, for the $200-$350 bucks, I have no complaints at all. |

Damn sounds like you got a pretty good deal on it , also post back if you start having problems with your driveshafts that's kinda where I'm at now with mine |
Reinforce the drive shafts!!! I saw a post using all thread and I've seen guys using pieces from a parts tree frame. I used all thread. |
