Default VP stage one kit and steering question

I recently purchased the Vp titanium link set with cms and panhard for the scx 10. I was about to order the Vp stage one kit as well but i see it states that it requires a different tie rod and drag link because if the zero ackerman style knuckles. My question was will the tie rod and drag link in the link kit i purchased be what i need to run those knuckles? Thanks for the input. Id really like to get back to spending money i don't have on my addiction thanks lol

It should work but I find that no matter what you get sometimes its just trial and error... Lol I just switched my SCX honcho to a cms the front bumper mount one from VP. I already had VP steering and drag link on the truck with Currie's. Luckily I was at a buddies house who had an assortment of VP links because it took three different drag links before we came up with the right combination. So I guess to answer your question... Hell I don't know!!!! Lmao

I am still new to this but I believe what you need is VPS06739 which says it's for the "Currie/SCX 8 DegreeTitanium Tie Rod/Drag Link"

Haha!!! at least your honest and at least I'm not the only one that doesn't know. It just kinda sucks if i bought the whole kit and have to buy another tie rod lol. But oh well more spare parts i guess. Which has NEVER been a bad thing in this or the 1:1 world.

Basically I used the currie tie rod but I used the vp titanium drag link that came with my 3 link panhard with cms because it was longer than the currie one

Had to do the same thing. Order the Pan Hard link kit and the Currie Drag and Tie Rod. Not sure why VP can't offer links in separate kits for people?

Good deal. Look into getting some of the vp wheels and knuckle weights

Try the Associated clamping aluminum hex, ASC9892. It's wide, looks nice and clamps on using with a 2-56 SHCS screw. Needs a 5/64" or 2mm hex driver. 9.99 a pair at amain.
