| battery mount setup questions
I have a honcho thats starting to get a little heavy with its bumper and sliders. I currently run a front mounted battery and generally run 5000mah 2c lipos. As of right now this is too much weight/too far forward and the thing tips almost instantly when its off camber. She crawls like a mountain goat straight up, but cant do anything else right now. Where else are you guys mounting them? Anybody running lipo saddle packs and have a good mounting solution? I like this idea but afraid to get the lipos wet. |

You can flip the battery mount to the rear of the truck if it really is that front heavy.

I have mine running across the chassis behind the shock mounts. I'm using the Jeane Racing ultra pattern plate and 5500 3s lipo. Setup has worked great for me. Sent from my toilet seat using my Galaxy Not 3 & Tapatalk |

Looks like I may have to invest in some saddle packs. I have warrior sliders, anybody make plates that will mount packs there? I also have my ESC off the side of my one slider so i'll have to relocate that. Or suggestions to mount below the front shock towers |

I have mine across frame behind front shock hoops but plan on doing saddles on sliders soon. Make your own mounts using styrene, cheap easy and light..
