Use wraith interior on Rubicon G6?

Hey guys! I am new to crawling/scalers/this forum but not new to RC. Anyway, I have decided to buy the Axial G6 Jeep kit.

I am wanting to have better scale appearance, so I am wondering if I can adapt the wraith interior set into the G6. Is this possible, or is there no clearance under the body for it? I have never even seen one of these in person, so I am wondering if it is feasible. I can fab it in as long as there is room.....so is there enough room?

I just posted this yesterday in another thread. It's a few threads down in this SCX10 board.

Thanks! Looks good! Where does the battery go? It looks like the normal location is occupied.

It's hard to see in this photo (imagejpg6.jpg Photo by redmike76 | Photobucket), but I mounted the stock alloy battery tray horizontally on the frame using existing holes and some old servo posts I had around. The battery gets mounted in the space between the driver's feet and the front shock in the linked picture.

Very cool. Final question:

What type of battery do you use? I want to do a similar mod to yours, and I have not ordered a battery yet. Are you running nimh or lipo, and is it a full sized stick or smaller? Thanks again for the help!

I run these: GENS ACE 5000mAh 40C 7.4V Hardcase Lipo Battery Pack ROAR approval

Most regular size hard case 2S lipos would fit the same, though. I also have a ton of extra electronics and wiring taking up space in my rig, so you could play around with placement, too (I have a winch controller, a Castle BEC Pro, two led controllers, and wiring for I think 15 separate led lights). I really need to clean up my wiring a bit :)

Looks good to me, man!

And is that a Street League Flex character I see there? It looks perfect. Looks like Sean Malto is going to be driving mine. :lmao:

Lol...yup. They have a variety of those figures pretty cheap on Amazon. Make sure you post up your rig when you're done!
