Default To vent or not to vent

Hey dudes. I am still very new to the scaler/crawler scene. I am going to be building my SCX G6 kit in the next week or so. I have read many threads regarding venting of tires. I am looking for tips for my particular setup and usage. Here is what I have going:

I will have Gmade SR02 Steel Beadlocks on the truck.

For now I am rocking the stock foams and stock trepadors.

The truck will likely have an addtional pound or so added (plus the steel beadlocks)

I will be running an AE2 ESC and the axial 27T on a 2s lipo.

I will be doing mostly wooded area trail driving, but will also do some rocks and some wet areas. I plan on waterproofing my electrics to get this thing into some serious action if the need arises.

I am thinking that I want to vent the tires in between the lugs, just 2 holes per tire. I have a leather punch and will likely do the smallest holes I can to try to preserve my scale looks that I am striving for. Am I barking up the right tree here? Does anything seem off about my conclusion? Thanks.

I will only vent a tire/wheel combo
if the bead will not seal properly.
a quality bead lock should seal without issue.

Venting allows dirt, mud and water to infiltrate inside the tire
and often the dirt inside the tire's interior,
can grind on the foam inserts, damaging them.

If one chooses to vent...
I would recommend venting the tire on the outer diameter surface (tread)
This way the debris inside the tire would have better opportunity to escape.

Stock foams will not like water.
My vote is run sealed, you loose a small amount of tire flex but you save the foams. I have ran standard beadlock s with a screw in the vent hole so I can equalize tire pressure on cold days.

I run vented, though the rim or tire. Removes the air pressure equation from the mix completely and gives me very a very consistant feel all year. I don't run in water too much though, so take it for what you will. I do get the foams wet on occasion, but not bad enough that they've ever degraded or anything.

Vent and stay away from the water or be prepared to replace foams every so often. They wear out anyways.

Vent the tires. I look into crawler innovations foams. They will help make the tire perform better and if you choose single stage foam they water resistant.
