|  Slammed set ups
I just got back into crawling this summer and man I have missed it. I bought a Deadbolt and done the regular hop ups but now I see many trucks that are set very low and slammed to the ground. The links are just about parallel to the ground. Is this done with one of those new lcg chassis or the shocks? maybe both? I remember back in the day a full droop set up was popular. Thanks for any info |

Yes and no. It's a lot easier running a low slung chassis with a set of LCG rails like GSpeed, and Brazin (only super low ones that come to mind right now). You can also get the same effect with drooping your shocks, or just running smaller shocks depending on your clearances. Im running 85mm Traxxas big bores on my honcho, this is as close to parallel I can get, front is fully compressed.  Last edited by FrancoSFL; 09-08-2016 at 10:02 AM. |

I just have a Gearhead lowering kit and PL scalers. Stock rails and skid, trimmed front crossmember and Jcad rear crossmember for more axle clearance. Jcad RULRs in use as well. Works really well for me.
