I am completely new to the hobby. I just replaced the servo horn and steerng links on my axial scx10 trail honcho with the aluminum upgrades. After doing so I realized that when I turn the steering wheel on the transmitter and then let go of it , the wheels on the truck stay in that direction. They dont go back to the straight position and im not sure what I did wrong.

Perhaps you didnt center the servo before attaching the servo horn? Turn the esc on with the servo horn disconnected. Once the servo has power and has centered, attach the servo horn so that your wheels are as straight as you can. Adjust your trim to fine tune the wheel alignment. |

What alloy parts did you use, did you over tighten the hardware causing a bind.

take off the servo horn from the servo and turn the front wheels side to side. they should move freely, if not you have a binding issue. if they do turn free then next step is to check the servo.
