Looking to 4 link my truck

I would like to 4 link my truck. I have the SCx-10 Jeep kit, which has stock lower aluminum links and plastic upper 3 link front and 4 link rear. Do I have to relocate the servo to the chassis or can it stay in the stock location?

I was looking at this 4 link kit:
Vanquish Products SCX10/JK Titanium 4 Link Conversion Kit [VPS06970] | Radio Control - A Main Hobbies

It's kind of pricey though. What other 4 link kit do you guys recommend?

No, you can keep the servo on the axle, you can just buy a 4 link truss, various vendors on here make them, or you can just get the stock plastic one, and make your own links out of 8-32 all-thread and revo rod ends, plenty of how to's on here about making your own links.

You can 4 link it with the extra parts that come with your kit. I did it myself last night in about 20 minutes and love the difference.

I like how my driveshaft doesn't rub the link anymore. Totally worth the upgrade.

For the front, use the stock Axial plastic four link truss. You can still have the servo axle mounted, but you will need to use two 3mm spacers for clearance between the servo plate and the upper link/rod ends. I also offer a stainless steel upper and lower link kits."thumbsup"

My kit didn't come with an extra four link truss.

Since my lowers are already Axial aluminum links, can I just add Axial aluminum links to replace the plastic 3 link front and 4 link rear? What size Axial links would I need?

You can, or you can buy 8 links from Shon (R2J) and never have to worry about links again.

The problem with Axial's links are the rod ends, the 3mm set screw is too small and the thread pitch is too close together. The et screws will eventually split or strip out the plastic rods ends. Traxxas Revo rod ends are MUCH stronger and already come preinstalled on Shon's links.

Dinky RC, Level3, Vanquish, and other RCC Vendors have a simple 4 link truss that you can buy.

I am going to order a complete set of links from R2j, but I am going to need a front 4 link truss. I was thinking about order 2 aluminum ones. Which ones should I get? Does anyone have a link to them?

I put on the VP kit you linked to in your first post and it has been great. It is definitely a little pricey but it has held up good and I really like the front link mount as I kept the servo on the axle. I'm sure R2J's kits are just as good I have just never used them.

I got my links from R2j and installed the front ones so far.

After installing the fronts, I noticed the angle of my front axle changed. It isn't as sharp of an angle as it used to be. Is this supposed to happen when installing these links?

You can easily make your own links for the scx10.

Just wondering if all the links in your VP 4 link conv kit were straight? I received mine and they're all straight but pics show bent ones?

Just checked and my front uppers have a slight bend in them. Those are the only ones that are bent.
