Default RTR Rebuild

This is RockCrawlinJeep's first RC, I'm figuring it out as I go along.

I have wanted an RC truck to take on our full size wheeling trips. Something to do while we eat lunch in the woods, hanging out at camp, or on the comp course after a long day on the trails. As a Christmas gift, I got a RTR Axial SCX10 Jeep Rubicon. I used it a couple of times over the winter, but it sat until recent when a good friend of mine wanted to take the RCs over to the farm to run a couple trails...

Unfortunately I was not able to bring my RC over to the farm that weekend due to a rookie mistake. I had left the battery plugged in (turned off) while the Jeep sat unused. I ordered a replacement Racers Edge 6 Cell 5000mah Nihm battery pack from Amazon. I also emailed their customer support and may try some of their suggestions to get the other pack to take a charge, it would be nice to have a backup battery.

Some clips I edited together of my friend's truck from that weekend:

I will most likely upgrade to a lipo battery but for now that was a replacement to get me back on the trails.

After the fresh battery was installed I took the RC out almost every day around the house trying to climb any obstacle that I could find. I eventually noticed that the rear links were bending and causing the axle to twist. I also had issues with my ESC. (ESC Issues?) I ordered the Axial link/steering kit and their aluminum 25t servo horn. I also ordered a replacement ESC due to the stock one having issues.
