Default Axial scx 10 shock question

I recently moved my battery mount to the front of my truck i notice the shocks compress quite a bit with the weight of the battery just wondering if this is normal or are my shocks not firm enough ?

Either replace the spring to get a little more tension. What kind of shocks are you using? Are you using stock Axial and are the single rate or dual rate shocks. Try heavier weight oil could help with the dampening factor. Good luck.
