Default driveshafts issue after 4 links upgrade

Hi

Today I have upgraded my scx10 honcho to custom 4 links (front & rear)

After I did the upgrade, I noticed issues in the throttle performance, I do suspect it is from the driveshafts, the behavior is as shown in the below video

Appreciate your support

Did you line up the drive shaft? The cross member thing you have use on the front axle screwed down? I forget to screw mine down and had front axle shudders.

I bet your driveshafts are at too much of an angle. If you compress the springs and axles toward the truck does it stop? If so you'll have to clock your axles a bit to account for that.

I had to do the same thing with me scx10 after I added longer shocks, but any suspension change could do the same thing.

my bet is the the drive shafts were not reassembled correctly
and are needing to be phased (aligned)

there should be index marks > | < visible at both ends of the DS
or simply align the pins of the universal joints

Compress the suspension on the front axle and try it again.

Thanks guys,

It was the angle, I lengthen the upper links and the chatter disappeared.

I returned to 3 links in the front since I have the servo mounted to the chassis (rc4wd kit) and the links hit the 4 links truss on the axle.

Now I am having another issue, the servo is turning one way fully, and barely turns the other way.

I zeroed the servo, however, still the same, I feel that the front axles moves against the servo when it ttries to steer that direction.

Appreciate your feedback

I have a question,

Do the drag link should be parallel to the link connecting the two wheels?

At what angle should be the drag link? I feel it is on a high angle in my current setup which may caused the issue, and one note, if I left the truck of the ground, the steering works great at both sides, the issue is on the truck is on the ground

Thanks again,
