Default MIP shafts too long

I bought a set of MIP's #10145 for my SCX10 build with 11.3"/290mm wheelbase. The shafts are too long. Does anyone know the part number of the shorter males that will fit?

Which model do you have? My wife picked the Honcho model last week and I have been looking at replacing the drive shafts with metal ones and noticed that there are different lengths.

This is originaly a Honcho I've shortened down to 11.3" wheelbase, same wb as the Dingo. Besides length there's also one other difference. The older Honcho had a set screw connecting drive shafts to tranny and axles, the later ones have a bolt going trough a hole.

If you've got the newer Wild Boars there are ways of strengthening them. I wouldn't "waste" money on metal drive shafts.

I've found out my question though, ordered MIP #10134. This is a shorter male shaft, made for Traxxas Slash.

Is the MIP #10134 direct bolt on to the MIP #10145, or did you modify something? Also, will these work with the SuperShafty Complete 6mm OutPut Bomb Proof TRANS mounted on a Dingo?

You could cut the shaft MIP down to the proper length. I cut an MIP down before, not an issue.

Same here... I have a set that are cut about 5/16" short to get a short wb. No issues whatsoever.

Yes, #10134 is a direct bolt on. I just didn't want to cut both of them if I ever choose to lengthen WB again.
