| Good tires
I'm looking for some opinions on a good set of tires for all around use... Ex rocks, dirt, trails, sand, and maybe some mud.... Is there one set of tires that dominates or am I looking at a different set for each type of surface? I ask bc all the tires say there great on all these surfaces but are they really? Thanks in advance for your advise |

How big? There's a big difference between a 1.9 Flat Iron and a 1.9 Rock Beast.

I'm running XL Super Swampers. Used them in 3 comps & they are great. Just get some CI closed cell foams.

1.9 Rock Beast is about the same height, but quite a bit wider and a great tire, so is the Mad Beast. There are others too, just can't think of them off the top of my head.

I ordered some RC4WD 1.9 Interco IROK 1.9 Scale Tire , they got pretty good reviews when looking for some upgraded tires for my ride.

Just like the 1:1 world Tsl's rule all terrains 1.9 proline Tsl's Xl would be my 1st choice. Second would be Pitbull Rockbeast's.

I have both 1.9 proline tsl xl's and 1.9 pitbull rockbeast's. Both tires work very good in all conditions and both become even better when wet.

Most of the time a good tire will come down to the foams used as that is very important. What I did was gave crawler innovations a call and ask about your rig and the area you. Run on... He is very helpful and my guess would point you towards the rock beast or the growlers. He makes the best foams so he has a lot of experience with the tires and foam combinations that work best!

I just picked up a set of the new axial falkin wild peaks. They look and feel great. I haven't ran them yet so I can't give you feedback. I do love the proline tsl's. CI foams is a must whatever direction you go.

I run the Rock Beasts with the 2-stage foams that they come with and I love them. I also ran Pro-Line TSL's excellent tire, just need better foams. (such as CI Foams)

My favorite tire is the Super Swampers XL. I run them on two Jeeps. I also run and like Mickey Thompson Baja Claws TTCs on a Jeep and Pit Bull Rock Beast on a Toyota Hilux, but prefer the Super Swampers XLs.

On my rig (7.86 lbs.) I've tried ripsaws, Falken wild peaks, and trepadors...all with a variety of foams. The only decent one of those three that works in the terrain I run are the trepadors. But for all out grip in all conditions...P-L swamper XL with CI closed cell foams. These are the last brand of tires I'll ever buy.
