Default Unlucky? Fried my servo and receiver..

Newer tsx45 got fried after my most recent water run. Looks to have taken out the receiver too. Not surprised as I was in pretty deep water, however my servo was plastidipped then caked with marine grease... Receiver seemed to stay dry and I'm assuming that the servo went out and shorted the receiver? Looking for some input I've heard great things about this servo and up until this point have had good luck. When I plugged just my esc into a different receiver the esc worked normal, as soon as I plugged in the fried servo, things started acting up. Similarly when I tried the receiver in a different truck it was bugging out also. So looks like electronics are fried except for esc..

Anyone else have trouble with their tsx45? Seems like it's just me but looking for some feedback from people who run in water. I believe axial even claims water resistant on that servo and I had that thing caked in plasti dip.

Anyways, ordered a new receiver and a metal gear waterproof hitec but still curious
