new to me scx-10 Cherokee

hello, i just got my first 1/10 scale crawler! it is a scx-10 jeep Cherokee that was previously owned by dodge12vcummins. i have had it for a few days and i love it! so much better then my 1/24 scale trail trekker. but i do have one problem, it curently has a axial 27t brushed motor and an ae-5 esc. not the actual motor or esc not working but the motor does get hot. so i am wanting to go brushless but im not sure what motor and esc combo i should get or what kv i should get. i do think i should gear it down because it has a 23t pinion and a 80t spur. what do you guys think for for a brushless setup?
