SCX10 Deadbolt wheelbase-bodies for it.

Hi everybody. I recentley just got a new SCX10 deadbolt. I broke the body, and I'm not sure, but I think the wheelbase is 12 inches, not 12.3. Correct me if I am wrong. What bodies can I use for it without making custom links to fit 12.3 inch bodies? Help is much appreciated! Thanks!

change the rod ends to extend the wheelbase.

I believe the G6 bodied Jeep
shares the same 12" WB

more commonly
you will find bodies designed to fit
either 11.4" and 12.3"

regardless... altering the SCX-10 wheel base
to the length you require for a specific body/WB.
starts with increasing or decreasing suspension link rod lengths.

The deadbolt , the jeep g6 body share the same roll cage , so the cage will work on either body. You can stretch either wheelbase to 12.3 inches on either rig. You can space the body forward or rearward by using the jeep body post kit number ax80123 . Instead of the body posts going straight up, they are offset by over the width of the post stud . So you can move the mounting locations front or rearward. The cost of the spacers is not cheap it comes with the jeep 4door roll cage top brace kit.its over 20.00. You could use your cage and put it on a deadbolt or g6 jeep and stretch the wheelbase to 12.3 inches. It would climb way better also. Either the axial link kit is available or piece together a link set from vanquish products. You could also just extend just the rear links only. I've done the 12.3 length wheelbase to a jeep g6 it looks good.
