Default drag break not as strong

I just noticed that the drag break is not as strong as it use to be on my holmes hobby esc i dont have a programmer so its just stock settings does anyone know why this may be ?

My bet is the motor, not the esc causing the trouble.

Worn or dirty brushes on the motor mine did the same thing

I would think that worn out or dirty brushes/comm would result in a cog or jittery motor. If it is only effecting the drag brake, I wouldn't think it's a bad brush...now if it runs crappy as well, that's a different story and Crank would be correct.

buying a castle link is always a good deal anyway...
