Vanquish is always better! One word, Quality. Don't forget if you don't have Currie axles, you don't want those links. RC Accessories - Axial SCX10 Parts - Titanium Links - Vanquish Products It's also a preference for people but you may want to go with a four link up front. |

Do not buy any links with solid rod ends on them... Eventually they will fail and the link itself will be useless. Do use/make any link with traxxas revo/jato(m4) rod ends, such as the VP and others use. |

rc4wd sells metal rod ends... and for the scale look... they replicate a heim joint fairly well. I like that they have stop/adj. nuts on the threads. Just be aware of the thread sizing wanted. M3 is more common with most 6mm pre-threaded rod and the Axial link rods. Metal Rod Ends chinese made... so durability and consumable life... could be a hit or miss ps: take note that there are straight ends and angled ends. shocks ? I like the traxxas 100 mm big bores. I have the plastic cheapo units. But if alloy is your thing they're available for mo' $ I like how the internal bladders work. (nestled in the upper cap) They work well if lighter rated coil springs are used. My rig weighs around 9 - 10lbs. A 100 mm shock is about the limit for the SCX-10 chassis any longer and the upper shock mount would need be raised. My BB and Losi white coil springs sit about 50% squat for the chassis ride height. Suspension droop potential is more valuable for a technical crawler then total compression. 'least IMO Last edited by TacoCrawler; 09-08-2014 at 08:04 PM. |

The G-Made Zero's or the Aerations are nice. The Piggybacks seem to big for a scale look. I would also buy 93mm instead of the 103 mm's. 103's are nice for a Wraith but a little tall for a SCX10. The Chevy on the left has 93mm and the Yota has 103's. I went back to 93's on the Yota and was much more stable. |
