Default Strange gearing?

Hi all,
I opened up the gear shroud to get an accurate tooth count and found a 13t pinion and a 56t spur. They look like 32 pitch as well. This is on an SCX10 Deadbolt. Anyone else notice this? Am I hallucinating?

Thanks,
Scott

If you have the new slipper design, the gears should be 32 pitch.

The 56t spurr is in a 32 pitch. Your 86 is in a 48 pitch.

The 56 is right on the new deadbolts it's just stronger gearing, not sure on the 56t as with a 13 it should be a 54 to get a 4:1 but it depends on how you drive. Most people will convert to 32 pitch eventually anyway so don't be alarmed, be happy

I actually prefer 32 pitch over 48. So if I want more low speed control, what should it be for gearing?

I run 56t spur and 8t Robinson pinion with a 13t HH motor on 3 cell. Gives me good low speed with a nice top end.
