Default How to mount Proline Powerstroke shocks

I feel like a total newbie for asking this but how do I mount the Proline powerstroke shocks? What I mean is the top of the shock is just a large hole. I know I could just use a large head screw and wedge it against the upper mount but that would limit movement. How did you mount the upper part of your powerstroke shocks?

Use a rod end ball and some washers.

Proline has a universal mount kit part #6063-05. It has the balls that fits the upper shock mount. One kit has enough balls and washers for 4 shocks.
You toss the rest of the parts in the spare part bin.

I got the plastic ball out of the axial shocks ground it back to almost the ball (not the flanged side) then put the ball in the top shock hole then the plastic shock spacer on the inside put the original screw back in and it works a treat and cost zip

I used a set of JeepinDoug's 6mm shock mounts with stand-offs. They seem pricey for what you're getting, but they are awesome - worth every penny!!

I considered this but the ball part just slides right through the hole. How do you keep the shock from sliding down the spacer towards the shock mount?

You can also use some small fuel tube used for nitros. I bought the universal mounting kit as stated above but I know several people that used the fuel tubing and it seems to work pretty well.
