SCX10 Bodies
 

Hi guys just wanting to know what bodies will fit a scx10 jeep unlimited rubicon. I was looking to try get some kind of chevy body like a silverado, blazer or the clod body, but i have been told you have to change the wheel base. Does anyone know of any bodies that dont need to have the wheel base changes or how hard is it to adjust the wheel base and will it affect the performance.

Making changes to the wheelbase isn't hard, mostly just changing the length of the links. You can start out with 8-32 or M4 all thread rod and revo rod ends for links. Once you get the lenght where you want it you can then put steel brake tube over it or use it to get the lengths to get custom links built.

Proline has some Chevy bodies but they are older ones.

I have this body i had for another car.
Pro-Line 2007 Chevy Silverado Body 3229 for Monster Truck
Would this work on my scx10

Kind of it will. It's listed as only an 11.4in wheelbase. The Jeep Unlimited Rubicon is 12.3in wheelbase. So, it will work as long as you have custom links made to shorten the current wheelbase.

I just picked up a axial scx10 Rubicam and wondering if there is anyway I could get the new 2014 Chevrolet body from proline. I can upload the link for some reason but the measurements are length is 19.5" and width is 7.5 and wheel base 13" any help would be great thank
