Question 4 link with cms

Is having a 4 link up front with a cms ok?

No, You will get bump steer. With CMS a 3 link with panhard allows correct movement of the axle to eliminate bumpsteer.

This video of my SCX10 with CMS and 4-link will give you shows the bump steer in a cms/ 4-link setup.

Default 4 link with cms

You can run a CMS and 4link and get little to no bump steer. Just have to make sure your suspension geometry and link lengths are setup correctly. The CMS/4-link does take some testing and tuning.

If you really want a true 4-link and CMS with no bump steer, figure out how to make/setup a steering bellcrank.
