Got the shocks mounted.I put the Axial yellow springs on them.
I had to swap out the lower Traxxas shock ball swivel with the Axial setup as the shock mount and suspension link mount would not fit in the SSD axle mount space.

Good looking rig brotha! I have been thinking about grabbing a set of Trx shocks for the family dingo. I haven't had one issue with the ones on my Trx. Would probably need softer springs tho. The dingo is 3+lbs lighter then The Trx. You had to use the whole axial end or just the pivot in the end?

Thanks for the kind words AH! Had to use the Axial Rod end and plastic ball,plus the Axial spring perch.Couldnt fit two Traxxas metal ball ends on SSD axle mount.
The suspension arms have Traxxas Rod ends on them as well.

Just placed an order from Tower Hobbies.Ordered a set of the Proline Mud Terrain tires and a Ford Raptor body.Didnt like the looks of the Duratrax Deepwoods tires,not scale enough I guess.Needed another body like I needed another hole in my head.
As you guys know I love to paint lexan bodies.Since I got so many likes on my camel yellow Jeep G6 body way back when,
you guessed it.A camel yellow Proline Ford Raptor it is.

Got some goodies in the mail yesterday.Mounted up the new Proline tires last night.Much better looking tire than the Deepwoods.Im sure they perform as good as they look.
Tonight I trimmed out the new Proline Raptor body,
will probably paint and mount that up this weekend.

Got the Tamiya Camel Yellow sprayed on.I will do the black trim work on the outside.Using the overspray film as the mask makes this much easier.A steady hand with a new exacto blade helps too!
