Took the truck out for a little backyard wheeling.I like how slow I can run the fxr/integy45T combo.I tried 2s & 3s packs.Like the 3s a little better.

This is the rig I'm used to driving.Although speed is fun I am really enjoying the crawlers.Ive been tinkering with these r/c trucks since 87'(showing my age).I can really understand the appeal to these scale trucks.[IMG][/IMG]

Lol, forums are a dying art.

Have you had the compass tires in any mud yet? Are they wider and taller? I'm looking for something a little more appropriate for trailing on my Deadbolt

No mud with these tires yet.It was only 18 degrees today. No mud to be had.Probably won't do mud with these trucks as the esc's are not protected. The Compass tires are taller & wider than the stock Treps.

I need to work on my battery relocation next. I like how you did yours. How hard was it to move everything around?

Not hard at all. With my battery plate I lined it up at the front of the chassis. Then drilled two holes just inside & outside of each frame rail. Then ran a plastic zip tie around each frame rail to secure it to the chassis.Simple.The rx box just uses two screws to mount to the rear frame cross member.

Awesome! I'm working on mine right now. I'll drill the holes and try that.

Awesome thanks! I tried a couple things and found a way to do it. It's not permanent yet until I run it a few times and see how it does
