Picked up a bottle of conformal coating to water proof the electronics in my two rigs. Was debating boxes to mount everything in or the coating.Really didn't want to remount everything as I like the way I have the electronics currently mounted.Just have to uncase everything and give it a couple coats and allow to dry.Dont really plan on doing any severe wet condition driving but wanted the peace of mind.

The rig looks good! Man-o-many body choices! That conformal coating is good stuff.

Thanks DT. I love to paint bodies.I think the Proline 66 Ford is next on the list. That will be enough for awhile.Four bodies for two rigs. That ought to get me through the summer.

Hey RiderZ, What did you use for the safety lines on the body clips? I like them, that's pretty slick!

They are Dubro clip keepers.I like them too.I put them on every body I get.Fumbled with body pins for a lot of years till I found these. They come in several colors and the clips are included.

Added some Axial universal shafts up front. And some Axial threaded pipe supports at the front & at each shock tower.Seemed to stiffen up the chassis a bit.

Final STRC aluminum parts added.Front diff link mount & rear H brace.I think I covered all of the aluminum parts other than the shock & bumper mounts.Dont think I will be adding those.

Had the two trucks out for the first real trail run.The two performed very well.Mostly wooded area with dirt bike trails.Lots of steep/tall hills to conquer.Need to get the video off my buddies phone.Stripped one of the brass gears in the 645 steering servo on one truck.Plenty of cringe worthy downhill tumbles.Very tough trucks.Steering servo is fixed and a new Proline 73' Bronco. Was lacking a Ford in the body collection.

Which one? Both Chevy body's show battle scars from one outting.Tumbling down a steep hill takes it's toll on a lexan body.Ill get started on the Bronco body this weekend.
