| 2 Door JK
Just finished my SCX10 2 Door JK about a week ago. It is scaled after my own JK. I don't have any pictures of them together, but have included a pic of the 1:1 at Imogene from this past August. The gray is Tamiya PS paint and the black is plastidip sprayed on the outside. I just cut the overspray film off where the plastidip is. It came out nice and seems tough. Rear/side windows are tinted with Tamiya smoke. I bent the light bar from aluminum bar and JB welded it to a brass plate. Then several coats of plastidip. The spare tire mount is an eBay special for a CC01 Pajero. Mirrors are an eBay special. The extended rear body mount were not long enough, so I had to extend them with aluminum tubing and some scrap pieces. I also cut down the stock Proline bumper to simulate the short caps on my JK. I used a Deadbolt RTR as the base. The stock Deadbolt rock rails look a lot like my Ace rock rails. Score. I did shorten the wheelbase to 11.4" for a better fit with the body. Looks good, nice little mod there with the bumper. Did you make the grill/light guard?

That looks great! Who makes the body, Proline? I think I might need one. One last question. What's the wheel base? Thanks for sharing. I quite like that paint job.

Pro-line 2 door JK 3322-00 I set the wheel base to the dingo 11.4" for a better fit. The 12.0" of the deadbolt i used was to long. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

I could use some 1/10 scale windshield wipers. Anyone know of a current source? Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk |

I just Googled "1/10 scale windshield wipers" and got lots of hits. Who knew that Integy made working wipers.

What parts did you use to go down to the 11.4 wheelbase?

| Re: 2 Door JK Oh ok. Funny thing is lastnight I went through my parts back from axial and found a 3-link truss and shorter links to be used as lower links. Going to install that and see what my WB is. If this works this will save me the aluminum link upgrade

I couldn't get to 11.4" from the parts bag. Found the upgrade kit on eBay for a reasonable price. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

| Re: 2 Door JK It was in the 60's today so I got a couple of action shots while my youngest drove it around in the yard. It has a wicked torque lean to the left while under power. |
