Axial SCX10 and AX24257 simple LED controller w/LED lights problem

Hello all.

This is my first post. I hope I'm posting in the right place.

My daughter has a Axial Racing SCX10 Deadbolt. I installed lights in the light buckets for her. They are Axial part AX24257 (Simple LED controller w/LED lights). When I turn on the vehicle, all the LED lights work, however, when I turn on the Axial controller and give the vehicle some "gas" the lights stop working.

Anybody know what I might have done wrong? The vehicle runs/crawls perfectly (without the LEDs working).

Do I not have enough battery power? I'm running a fully charged DTX 3600 (3600mAh) battery pack. Do I need more power or is it something else?

Any help/suggestions will be appreciated!

How did you wire it into the receiver?

Don't think it's a battery issue. You didn't mention, you said when you hit the gas the lights go off but does the car also run as normal? Do the lights come back on when you stop?

The truck runs normally when the lights go off. There are no issues.

If I turn the truck off and turn it back on, all the lights work till I give the truck a little "gas". At which point the lights stop working, but the truck runs normally.

try taking a picture of how you wired the lights into the reciever!

Are the lights plugged into the aux chan? maybe its a setting on the radio? Possibly a receiver capacitor would help.

Thank you for all your replies. The lights where plugged into the wrong receiver port-what can I say, I'm a newbie at this. My daughter is extremely happy she's got lights for night time crawling. Thanks again!!!
