need an opinion on my Wrangler G6 build

ok so week or so back my gf ask me what i wanted for christmas ,and i told her a set of proline super swampers to go on my g6 im building ,and i showed her which ones . anyway long story short when she ordered them a few days later she ordered a set of 2.2 xl the big ones !!! well i mounted them up on a set of axial walker evans beadlocks i had laying around and mounted them on my jeep to have a look . man there huge !!! anyway there on but i think there just way to big has anyone else ran these on a scx10 jeep before ? or should i set them back for another project ? ill try and post a pic after work today

I thought they were to big for my old Wraith so I can't imagine them working on an scx10. I would set them back.

Unless you like body rub and rolling over all the time, I'd get some 1.9s for the scx10.

yea the more i look at it the more im leaning toward getting me something else . here some pics oh yea while i got you guys looking anybody else had a problem with the mask lifting while preping the body for paint ? first time ive ever had one that bad ! nothing little masking tape wont fix though

2.2's are just wrong on an scx10

the 1.9 swampers are even to big in my opinion. I would try a set of flat irons 1.9 I love those tires, but the swampers are great to ive ran both.

I agree way to big lol . Thought that before i put them on but that still didnt stop me from having a look lol. And im not sending them back im just gonna sit them asise for now ill find something to put them on at some point

finally got it done overall im pretty happy with it . i do think im gonna fix me a spare tire mount some other way though here a few pics . what do you guys think ?

So those are the 2.2s? They look fine to me, although having the track a bit wider would help balance it out.

Personally, I think "scale" is relative. A Jeep/Early Bronco/Scout on full width axles and 37's would probably look a lot like a Deadbolt/G6 on 2.2's with some widening

yea i stuck with the 2.2 beadlocks i just stretched the 1.9 maxxis trepadors over them ill run them until my new rims and tires get here

I think your rig sits a little high....plus the spare sitting out like that is really going to throw your weight bias off
