Default Wheel spacers

I'm looking into getting some wheel spacers. I think they would help in making the truck more stable, plus the truck would look better with them I think.

What do you recommend for a stock scx10? I was looking at these:
Mini 12mm Wheel Widener (4)

I would recommend these: Junfac Wheel Widener (Offset: +13mm)

If you look around, you can find them.

all depends how wide you want to go. the rc4wd mini wideners are ok, ive got a set. but on scx10 axles its almost like running wraith axles at that point. if you just need like 1-2 mm then use different hex's maybe. junfacs are good just a bit wider then the ones you linked.

I have the Junfac and are very happy with them. I would suggest putting a drop of non- permanent Loc-Tight on the long bolts.

Are GMade a knock off?

I'd prefer something in the USA. Got a link to that?

I run the junfac spacers myself with 1.9 wheels and 1.9 bfg krawlers. IMO with wideners you need taller tires as it will actually be more difficult to go over obstacles. that's just what I've experienced.

Just got my Junfac spacers.

I'm looking at them and I'm not sure how to install them. Does anyone have a picture of instructions or a picture of them mounted?

Thanks.

For a more subtle effect, Traxxas makes some 8mm wide hexes.

Set of 4 runs about $7 (two of item #3654).

I run the 8mm wide hexes on a few rigs as well, Pro-Line also makes them ( part# 6097-00 ). The stock hexes are about 4.5mm so by adding 8mm hexes it only gives you about a 7mm wider width on your rig. This does work pretty good on a stock rig though, also the wider hexes are good if you ever plan to run VP steering knuckles, since they tend to have clearance issues with some wheels.
