Okay, the outputs are lined up... but are the pins on each end of the driveshaft lined up? Has this recently started? Has it worked properly before? Have you done anything that may have changed the drive-shaft angle, like changing the links? When you say you rebuilt the "gearbox", is that the center transmission, or the differential gears? |

Pull the drivehaft loose from the transmission and see if it's the output or the driveshaft. Looks like the coupler on the drivehshaft may be drilled off center or something (coupler, U-joint, shaft, output) on the transmission end of the driveshaft may be bent/warped.

Yeah, sounds like you need to open up the transmission and check the bearings, gears and outdrives.

the outdrives have probably come loose from the bottom gear, its a fairly common occurrence on some rigs..hopefully you have caught it in time before it damages anything.

You'll have a little bit of shake even if everything is okay. The bearings have some minor slop in them, the bottom gear isn't exactly centered in the outdrives and the outdrives are not exactly centered to each other. There's a little bit of shake/wobble in mine and I know everything is in great condition inside.
