Better foams for stock tires? I've got a deadbolt with stock tires on axial headlocks. The tires themselves seem pretty good except they fold over the rim more then I would think is desired. So anyone still running stock tires with better foams? Is it even worth it? |
Re: Better foams for stock tires? Crawler Innovations... |
Re: Better foams for stock tires? If you like how those tires work, then yes, look at Crawler Innovations. I'd buy a set of Prolines or Pitbulls instead, with a set of Crawler Innovations Lil'Nova foams off course... |
Re: Better foams for stock tires? Crawler Innovations does a Trepador specific foam. I bought some recently and have been pretty happy with them. They are firm but can be trimmed to suit your needs. |

Re: Better foams for stock tires? From the web site: 4.25" = 5 pounds or less, used more technical rock crawling 4.50" = 6 pounds or more, holds the weight better, used more for RECON G6, & general bashing (this is the most popular size) 4.75" = 8 pounds and heavier, for very heavy scale rigs, & hard bashing |
Re: Better foams for stock tires? I got the single stage ones that also work with the Mad Beasts. |
