|  tss chassis + smoooth skid fitment problem?
I bought a TSS scx10 chassis and smooth skid a few weeks ago. I finaly got around to attempting to instal it tonight.. The link link in the picture is 70mm. The same spacing as the bumper mounts, cross bars, etc Did I get a bad skid, or am I suppose to cut it to fit?   |

No you didn't. The scx10 is slightly narrower at the front and back of the chassis compare to the middle.

Frame rails are indeed 80mm apart in the center.

Damn, its junk Zach! Better give it to me! I don't remember for sure but I think you just bolt up the rest of the bracing after you install the skid, to suck things in. But I'll still take it off your hands! Last edited by 460bronco; 03-29-2015 at 01:56 PM. Reason: info |
