Default New SCX10 Honcho

Hello,
Hear is my new Honcho.
I am keeping this a inexpensive build, for now.
Hear is what I ordered today
Axial Aluminum Wheelbase Links Set 12.3 (313mm)
King Off-Road Scale Piggyback Shocks w/Faux Reservoir (100mm
Traxxas Hex Wheel Hub 2.5x12mm Fr Rustler/Stampede/Slash (2)
VANQUISH Axial SCX10 stage 1 kit Blue
Hot Racing Axial SCX10 AX10 Wraith hard steel center gears set
Junfac Hardened Universal Shaft for Axial Honcho.
I had a question for the stage one kit it states Will require new tie rod and drag link, due to this being a high steer Zero Ackerman Knuckle.
Will the tie rod and drag link from the Axial Aluminum Wheelbase Links Set work? or what do I need? Parts will be hear Wednesday
Thanks

Hope you don't mind that I moved this out of the Yeti forum to its proper spot.

The currie one won't work for you, I'd say the axial upgrade one should work for you just might have to play with different rod ends to get the perfect length

Vanquish makes a steering and drag link that will work with the stock axles, with the stage one kit.

The Currie link set will work with the VP 8° high steer knuckles... just get those! Then you'll probably have to run wideners to make the wheels clear. But you could just get VP wheels and run the right width SLW hubs....

Yeah VP, I know your tricks...

i was on the vanquish site trying to find the item number that you need but i cant find it sometimes i dont feel they have the most user friendly site...i would just call them up and ask...like mentioned above you will need to use the stage one kit knuckles....

Thanks guys, I have both now, and on vanquish's website it says •Requires Currie/SCX 8 Degree Knuckles Titanium Tie Rod/Drag Link VPS06739, looked up the number and bingo, I got a set of Knuckle Bushings when I ordered just incase. I got a few sets of Traxxas Hex Wheel Hub 2.5x12mm Fr Rustler/Stampede/Slash. If they don't give me the clearance I will farm the Junfac Wheel Widener (Offset: +13mm) off my Wraith, I will just have to drill out the wheels to 5mm. Wheels are Axials old school 1.9 8 hole beadlocks.
Will see what works I will post pictures over the weekend

the one link kit has everything you need (links, CMS, and pan hard), its like 120.00 but worth every penny, you could always sell the other stuff you ordered on here...

Default New SCX10 Honcho

Is that a skid plate in the last picture? It hangs down really low and is going to get hung up on all kinds of things. Other than that looks like a nice build.
