| Currie axle question
Hello, I just ordered a SCX10 Jeep Wrangler G6 kit. I want to run Currie axles, I see I need Vanquish's 12.3 WB currie links. My question is will this fit My G6? The links are 6x98, The curries and links also say they work with the Honcho, the links are 6x106. This is my confusion . I am sorry if this is a dumb question, but I cant make sense of this. Different/longer Rod ends to make up the length for the G6 front and rear? Thanks all |

With the VP links, there's lots of room for adjusting the length.

Do I get the VANQUISH Currie/SCX Titanium 10 pcs. Link kit 12.3 WB? I just don't see how I can make up for the -8mm on the rear links? Being 6x98mm is the length front and rear. Are will it just make my G6 the same length as my Honcho? Sorry just not understanding, I know the links are adjustable, but not I cant see shorting the rear links by 8mm. Please help put my mind at ease |

it will make your g6 the same wheel base as a Honcho. you can not make them shorter with out cutting them.

I placed my order, the Curries with the Currie/SCX Titanium 10 pcs. Link kit 12.3 WB , I ordered the Junfac Hardened Universal Shaft for Axial Honcho. I assume these are the correct ones as my G6 will now be the same length as my Honcho? Thanks |

To me the g6 looks good on the longer wheel base with a wider stance as the rear of the jeep is slimmer and in a lot of cases in real 1:1 Rigs people will extend the rear a little to keep the front maintained on the ground better in rock racing

The build your doing is what I want to go for as I have a set of vp green methods with 600 Slw on the way to my house and I have lime green paint like on the real 1:1 jeeps. I ordered the jeep jk but I didn't like the body that much after paint and doesn't have that rock crawl appeal to me so right now I'm searing for a g6 body kit with cage and all un painted. And with me the curries I love but they're to nice and so expensive I'm scared to scratch them I have one on my yeti and it's still shelved as I don't wanna ruin it lol. |
