Received my Burly Chassis today..
Did need some Extra screws, No Problem, I had Ordered a Overly Large set of
Misc Screws from KNK..
My Howler Battery Tray will need a few screws holes moved to meet the slightly
wider chassis mounting for Slider mounts.
Over-all, Pretty Easy and gets the Monster truck look and I'm sure Performance.
Some Gearing and motor swap will be the next order, running the stock Deadbolt
27T motor and 12T pinion..
And Maybe some more scale looking tires. ;)

My Yeti was pretty useless with out its tires so I picked up a set of new wheels and tires today,
Mickey Thompson Baja claws and Integy 2.2 weighted wheels. Should keep the rubber side down
and give it more of a scale look.
Keeping with the scale-ish look, I also picked up a set of TSS "Lockerz" scale wheel hubs
I was pretty surprised how easy it was to mount the tires on the Wheels.
The wheels come with weights at 34oz each . Total 40oz per wheels all together.

With the new Integy wheels(not where I bought mine), my Rig now weighs in at 9.8lbs.
Up from the 7.6 lbs it was with the Vanquish wheels.
My Pro-line Scale shocks are mounted on the lower shock tower mount.
The stock foams that come with the RC4WD 2.2 Thompson Baja Claws Suck.
Tires look half flat and move around alot on the wheels now.
Need to hit up my LHS and see if they stock any CI Double Deuces to fit these tires.

One of my LHS was open today (not my Fav) that had a full stock of CI 2 stage Foams.
So I picked up some 5.5 Standard inners w/Soft outers for the front and Med for the Rear.
Bad thing, Soft is too soft.. Or my Rig is really heavy.
Yaa, it's heavy. 2lbs just in wheels. :O
Installed my 55t motor still with stock 13t pinion.
Ran Pretty good but my AE-5 SC got pretty warm. Parking till I pick up a 10t Pinion and hope for the best.
Some more Rear Fender trimming needed but the heavy wheels really keeps the
rubber side down and it climbs pretty good with these big Ole tires.

Really need to install my BEC..
And maybe Rear steer.;)

55t motor and 10t pinion installed.
Still did okay crawling.
Motor was cool, ESC was pretty warm.
I'm guessing since I haven't installed a BEC yet, it's the Servo stressing it..
Ordered up a HeyOK No Brainer BEC and HeyOK Four Wheel Steering Controller (just incase I want to go that direction).
Gotta Take advantage of RPP 4thJuly Discount.. ;)
That's my story and I'm sticking to it.. LOL..

A few Heyok Performance upgrades.

Bad news, I need a BEC made for 4 wheel steering.
Good news, I'll just use this Heyok BEC in my other Crawler..
Better News, Heyok is hooking me up with A BEC made for 4 Wheel Steering.
Is that Awesome Customer service or what?
