| Slipper clutch tightness
How tight do you guys run your slipper clutch? I run all steel gears and I recently had to do a bearing change on my transmission and I noticed my slipper pad(s) seem stuck together. I been running mine pretty tight, if not all the way tight. Is this ok or should I run it looser?

Try backing it off a half turn I would try just backing it off a bit first Last edited by THX_138; 10-09-2016 at 11:52 PM. |

You think I need a new one since it's stuck together or what should I do?

Tighten all the way down then back off 1/4 to 1/2 turn... Personally I'd crank it down all the way and leave it... |

I may just either leave it all the way tight or maybe half a turn backed out. If I get in a tight spot and I see its not going to go, I don't keep pushing. Especially being that I'm running all steel gears
