| Exterior opinions on a Comanche build
Been working on this for a little now and starting to put some make up on this pig. Very bland. I'm not a good painter so I'm hoping to fix it up a little with accessories. Opinions on the gas can. In the bed or on the tailgate in a bracket? The spare is sitting on a couple of wheel nuts and not slanted like that. Just mocking up. I'm leaning towards slanting it. Small roof rack on the cab with a light bar or light at straight into the roof. I'm leaning rack Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

To give your bed a little more depth, you can paint it flat black... A extra fine sharpie is great for door lines and other fine lines on the body. I have never been a fan of roof racks on pickups myself but if you like it go for it. As for the fuel can I like it on the bumper. |

Painting the outside of lexan bodies rather than the inside can make them more realistic looking. |

Yeah I kind of jumped the gun on this one. My buddy just did an awesome job where he painted the inside a rust color and then painted the outside whatever he wanted. As the outside breaks and peels the rust shows. Then he hits it with some flat black to look like primer. Really cool in real life. I picked up another body that I may have him do that to. |

You can remove some of the bland by painting the fender flares and possibly the bumpers flat or semi-gloss black.

Flat black flares, bumpers and maybe the grill would be cheap and easy Try to fab up a roll bar to mount the light bar and spare to would be nice also Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Last edited by THX_138; 08-02-2015 at 10:03 PM. Reason: Posting a Minute apart |
