I'm at the stage where I'm doing some electronics....I'm using the stock W/P AE-5 Rx and the Tactic TSX-45 servo, and stock Tx and Rx just stock parts nothing high voltage...I have the CC 10Amp BEC.Should i still use this even though I'm not using a high powered servo.I don't want to use it unless i have to......

It's good to wire up that BEC for future expansion down the road. That servo will die sooner or later, sooner on weighted 2.2s, and you'll want more oz/in from its upgrade. With the BEC you'll be ready.

Are those the non XL slingers? Could you do me a huge favor and take a pic of those and any other 2.2 tires you have, all side by side? I know the spec numbers but I really need a comparison pic to get a good idea of their size in real life. Thanks man.

If you have all three than run all three! It's going to look badass either way! If you cut the hood free from the body and mount it on hinges than you will only have to hide the two side edges. That's the only thing I can think of.

Your just jealous cuz there not on your rig..lol.It will be my first time running Slingers and i like the looks and with a tread pattern I'm sure they will perform well, but will see
Here were i live we have long winters and lots of snow, and I like running in the winter.I make a track in my back yard this summer that runs beside my brook and i think the Mud slingers will perform great in the snow...so i guess they will be my off season tire...

i forgot to mention to.A good reason to run the slingers in the winter is that they have stainless steel scale bolts......
Now I'm glad i chose them over the Zinc bolts for the Flault-lines..

Ya i know Blah Blah Blah....
Well i been trying to bind my Axial Tx and Rx and nothing..Ae-5 flashes and receiver flashes and all is stock AX-5 Tx and AR-3 RX all is new at least i think so..
OK,so i did the bind plug thingy and and RX stop flashing, great.so now the AE-5 still flashing red this is with the BEC....
Ok 2 days later and still trying to bind and nothing so i decided to call Axial and I told them the whole story and that i was using a BEC they told me that i didn't need A BEC because i wasn't using a high end servo...so i said well lets try another TX and Rx FlySky GT3b while your on the the phone and this is without the BEC low and behold it work so i guess the AR-3 that on bought on here was no good or just fried and went capute....
So now that I'll be using the FlySKy GT3b....without a CC BEC...
I guess i'll have to buy the upgraded GT3B on here....

Growlers and Mud Slingers Flat Irons..
I wasn't sure what my width would be so I bought these so i would know what width i would need.
I'll upgrade later on but for now this is what i had on hand..much better then the stocks ones that came in the kit

Here's another set that i might be using and paint up the rings instead of all black.

Here you can see i decided to mask off the rim instead of hand painting it...
It's a little more work but in the end looks better...

Here's the tires and foams that i will be using for the wheels.
2.2 Pitbull Growlers

Well as you can see i had to inlarge the thread from 2.5 to 3mm with 3mm stainless scale bolts....

Here is the end results of all 3 wheels and tire combos.
and by popular demand....

Ya that what said to.You should see them in person. They are a nice tire but a tade big it will be kinda hard to stuff them under those wheel wells unless i lift the body sky high...
They look more nicer on the Wraith or the Yeti...

I've got two rigs running the growlers! They grip rock! But your going a little more on the scale side. So the Mudslingers would be a good choice!

Just make sure you have a good thick coat of paint and that's absolutely dry before applying it, i could have used more paint but now i know, i just bought another NuKizer body for applying what i learn with this one
