Default Anyone heard of Asiantee's before?

been looking for a hard jeep body for my scx10 (11.4 wheelbase but I can change that on the fly. found this guy:

Boom Racing Jeep Wrangler Body For 1/10 RC Crawler Hard Top Red BR710068

but I've never heard of the site before. is this a decent price (yellow's cheaper too, may just paint it) and is this site one I can trust?

Ive heard of Asia Tees before and they seem to be pretty popular, but it seems to me like they sell a hole lot of cheep china junk so ive never ordered anything from them before, i just stick to ordering things from RPP hobby.
But that Jeep does look pretty nice and the price is good, especialy the yellow one

I bought a set of Boom Racing beadlocks and an Axial servo horn from AsiaTee's. Shipping is kind of slow. Well, once they ship it's slow, let me put it that way. They got the order out the next day. They're out of Hong Kong, so expect slowboat unless you pony up. I got my stuff in 10 days.
They seem to have a decent presence in the marketplace. I know anyone can do it, but they have a Facebook page and even produce videos on YouTube.

There's a few build threads on here using that body.
Search Chinese Jeep, China Jeep or Chinese Wrangler... something like that.

Asiatees and TopCad are the same company... can't recall but maybe the same as Integy.

I would never buy anything that you need to depend on... axles, chubs, knuckles.
But I think stuff like bodies, bumpers and lights are fine... if you don't mind buying Chinese.

Oh I don't buy parts i need to rely on from these kinds of sites, but the body looks seriously tempting, my lexan body just doesn't look right to me, was thinking of going hard body, but didn't want to throw cash at a site I've never heard of before just to see it disappear!

thanks for the input guys!

this is how she sits right now, too shiny. and I mistakenly made my under layer white, so it looks strange as hell.

The detail on that jeep body really is great.

Does the hardbody make it a lot more top heavy?

they will always be heavier and more top heavy than lexan bodies. but in my opinion that's also a little more realistic with a short wheelbase jeep.

I've gotten a few non-critical things from them in the past. As Jeckler said, it takes a while to come in, but I've not had any problems getting what I ordered.

I've ordered from them before. like said before they are cheap chinese so be carful what you buy... I bought there offroad jack and a transmission case and both hold up fine. But axles and hubs look pretty junky and ive had integy axles(chinese stuff) get mass amounts of slop on my traxxas products in the past.

I opted to order a full set of boomerang shocks for my TF2. I had spoken to a few guys that have had good luck with them, and for the price i figured why not. I agree totally with the other posts that they ship out of the WAREHOUSE very quickly. After that, complete joke. Some that i spoke to got their orders 8-10 days delivered. Mine is not that case, below is a screenshot I just did on my shocks.

My order was placed the 22 of March

Thank god it was only shocks. Truck has been in droop since i went to a linked suspension.

I've ordered a bunch of stuff from them. Knuckles, Chubs, beadlocks etc. Shipping is fast (less then a week to Canada with their cheapest shipping option.)
The aluminum parts I've order from them have held up, over a year of weekly trail runs and never had an issue.

I have ordered lots of parts from them, never had a problem with any of them. They process orders very quickly but Hong Kong Post is slow !! 10-15 days to Ireland.

Hey guys, just noticed this thread so figured I'd chime in a bit.

If you ever have any issues, feel free to contact us. We're more than happy to help! I also want to establish that AsiaTees is not TopCad or Integy. Never have been, never will be.

Soooo....yeah. Hi guys!

I have bought some parts from them. First time was some aluminium parts for a Losi 1/18 Desert Buggy I rebuilt/hopped up for a friend. Everything went well and the parts have held up exceptionally well. The only problem I have with the site is somethime the descriptions can be vauge and you have to get better ones from else where on the net. But every transaction has went well and nothing has disapointed yet.

I've been really happy with the Boom Racing and GPM Racing parts. I prefer the finish of the Boom Racing line, though. Way better than Topcad/Integy.

Also, maybe it's because I'm on the west coast, but I haven't had any problems with shipping. My last order came in 3 days. And that's with the free shipping option, too.
