Default F250 Honcho Build.

Bought this as an RTR Honcho in 2011 as my first crawler. I built it into a Unimog then kinda got bored with the hobby. Recently got back into it by building a pretty sweet Wraith and wanted to do something different with the SCX10 and make it something good for my kid to drive with me. Most of the drivetrain is the same as it was then, just decided to change it up.

HH BR-XL ESC
HH Torquemaster Pro Handwound 30T motor
16/87 pinion/spur ratio
Hobbico CS-170 Servo (Hitec 7955)
Hand Bros CMS kit
Axial Aluminum links (all worn out and bent up)
CC BEC
Wheels and tires are takeoffs from my roommate's RTR Deadbolt, as is the bumper and shocks (original shocks leaked all the oil out years ago).
Axial Chubs and knuckles
Overdrive gears in front
SkyQ aluminum shock hoops

Paint is Tamiya dark metallic blue and I made it a little different by using black for the bed. Body is by Pro-Line.

Next up will be the SSD D60 axle housings, I'll most likely change the tires too, not crazy with the Trepador performance but like the size. I'd also like VP titanium links.

Took this rig out for the first time today. Went pretty well, the tires surprised me a few times, however I know they'll be awful once it gets wet. It desperately needs softer springs, other than that, no real complaints.

I'm not a Ford guy but thats pretty clean. I have a set of 2.2 Trepadors and they definitely leave a lot to be desired, especially when they are wet. I'm looking into cutting them now.

Put some rubber Tamiya mirrors on it, I used Loctite 426 which is a rubber toughened CA glue. Also chopped the top of the cage off.

If you take a look in my build threads, my F250 has 3D printed mirrors and a front bumper. Designed myself

Well here it is now.

Got the SSD housings in, also went with the knockoff VP Method wheels and Pro-Line TSL XLs. Also picked up an RC4WD Jeep bumper that matches the lines pretty well. I'm really liking these tires.
