Here is the body all cut out and ready for paint.

Here's the honcho painted. Orange and gun metal.

Chassis rails installed. All went together just as advertised.

Its ready for stage 2 now. Going to be changing the axles out for the AR60's. Just need to gather the rest of the parts.

The axles for the new Wroncho build are coming along good. I have the dlux axle trusses installed and the link mounts installed. Way more to do to complete the conversion.

Default Austin's Slow SCX-10 build

I got around to building the new links for the wroncho conversion. It now sits at 13.5 inch.

The rear panhard mount is done.

What is a good way to run the rear drive shaft on a wroncho build? I am planning on running the extended and stubly outputs from super shafty and wraith WB drive shafts.

I finally finished my link set and set up an axle mounted servo with the Dlux fab upper link mount. It wasn't easy to figure out how to run the upper link and panhard bar without any interference with the servo and servo horn. Here are some pictures of it done without the wheels mounted.

I had a small problem with the modified knuckles. The outer bearing kept walking its way out of the bearing pocket. I drilled a small hole and added a screw for retaining the bearing in place since I didn't want to use adhesive for retaining it. We will see how it holds up.

Looks like you have gobs of articulation, just judging by the way you had to trim your body. Don't worry, mine looks the same way. I did the LCG frame and Currie Axle w/XR10 mod to mine....the fenders just had to go.

Yes, the Toyota Tacoma is great truck.

My 2.2 scx10 only has about the articulation of a beer can/soda can. It does great and crawls like a 2.2 sportsman.

That is one project that is on my hit list! Any snags to avoid if you were to do another? It is by far my favorite looking rig.

The rig went together great. The only thing that requires some fab skills is the rear panhard. A four link could be done in the rear as will as a chassis mounted servo, but the dlux servo mount/upper link mount provides a good place for the servo without bump steer.

I am thinking of replacing the scx10 trans with the dlux cheeszeburger trans to help stop the torque twist. A pair of dlux knuckles would be interesting to see the performance increase. It already crawls great without any weights.

It still has some torque twist, but not very much. I believe you want pan hard bars to be as long as possible and as close to parallel to the axle as possible.
