| SSD Axles
Got my SSD axles in the mail and got them installed finally. These things are awesome. I also ordered the Vanquish stage one kit, lockers, and OD/UD gears. Also picked up the SSD bearing caps, brass tubes, and Aluminum truss. The Vanquish parts were a very tight fit. I had the remove some material off the rear axle to get the lockouts on. The chubs and knuckles went on tight, but I didn't have to cut anything. I also chose to stay with the axle mounted servo. I love how the panhard looks but I want to keep the flex I get now as well as keep as much weight down low as possible. I used 2x6mm stainless screws for the diff covers, which I think look pretty good, gives it a nice contrast. SSD killed it with these axles. The material is solid and the fit an finish is excellent. And their $25 a pair.....what??? Hopefully the weather holds out and I can do some trailing this weekend! |

Looks good, I've been eyeballing those axles for a while. Might have to skip the whole "wait until something breaks" and just grab a set.
