Default building a Baja Bug scx10 class 2 rig

I have one built already and absolutely love how it looks and performs, so I got my hands on another duratrax Baja Bug body and going to make another!

I agree, i wish i could find more of these...they are extremely difficult to find. The bumper i made on the first one is perfect for it, but i think the red one will have a bit different design. I have a warn winch i will use instead of a servo winch..

I am going to make a front bumper for it soon, then I can mount my warn winch to it.

Well it has been awhile since I had time to update this rig. I made a few changes and got the winch mounted and it is performing very well right now. I am contemplating a few other changes after my next test run in a week or so. On to the updated pics....

I swapped the single large lipo out for 2 2200mah 3s lipos in parallel on the sliders to give me a better COG..works out much better..also mounted the warn winch and front stubby bumper. the bumper has a slight downward tilt to it that will be addressed soon i think.

I swapped out the HH 27t TM for an HH 35t TM motor..better for the way I drive this one...also swapped out the AE-5 for the Dynamite counterpart....

I also used a black sharpie to write down the gear ratios and such on the underside of the body since I tend to forget after a little bit

swapped out the stock rear shock hoops for a pair of custom crawl steel ones I had and then angled all 4 shocks in a bit

the tactic servo got replaced by a Power HD metal geared one from value hobby.com..
