| Scx10 Help
Hello. So I noticed that there are 3 different lengths for scx10 links. I did some more research and as far as I know the Honcho uses shorter links then all the other scx10s. I have the Scx10 Deadbolt and my question is which size of aftermarket links do I get? I'm looking at an eBay seller right now that has them in 3 different lengths. 112mm, 122mm and 130mm. This is very confusing. Please help!!!

The honcho is actually the longer wheelbase at 313mm. Deadbolt is 300mm and the Dingo is 280 or 290 (from memory). If you have the deadbolt chances are you need the middle length but I don't know for sure that you want the 122mm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

all three lengths you posted are longer than the links in the 12.3" (313mm) TR link set, so I'm betting none of them are the right length for the 12" (305mm) Deadbolt wheelbase from what I can find looking through manuals and the TR link instructions, Axial uses three lower links for the SCX10, 91mm, 98mm and 106mm. the 11.4" (290mm) short wheelbase has 91mm front and rear, the long wheelbase has the 98mm front and 106mm in the rear. Axial does not have a TR set for the 12"/305mm wheelbase so I can't be sure what links it would need, but the three you're looking at seem to be too long unless they're complete links with integral or attached rod ends. it would also help to know where they're taking their measurement, fully assembled length, center-to-center of the pivot balls or just the bare link |

I recommend that you look at R2J's links before you buy off of ebay. His links are high quality and will fit your rig right. http://www.rccrawler.com/forum/chass...-scx-10-a.html Last edited by k7zpj; 02-28-2016 at 10:26 AM.

You don't have to get all rude about it when someone points out a mistake.

and you didn't have to be rude while pointing it out, you reap what you sow and it can burn bridges in the process

The idea of the site is to share and have fun. I am sorry you took offense to my post, but you need to get over it and move on.

you could have, you should have, just posted the part number or link without engaging me, but that would not have done anything for your superiority issues. I was finished at post #6, then finished again at post #8, but you keep talking we can "let it go" right here at post #10 if you want, your choice

long wheelbase lower links from Axial are 98mm front and 106mm rear, not 100% sure what they would be fully assembled, eye-to-eye since I don't have them in front of me to measure. all I have are the Dingo 91mm short wheelbase links, but stock rod ends add about 24mm to the eye-to-eye length if the math is right, 122mm front and 130mm rear for the long wheelbase SCX10's Last edited by Soldat Vaillant; 02-29-2016 at 04:56 PM.
