Got the rc4wd wagon wheels on the mud slingers with cut foams. This setup is pretty sticky for loose stuff and rocks. Probably going to keep this setup until i perfect the tsl's for rocks only (if i can).

I trimmed the stock axial hub caps to fit the rcrwd wheels.

I moved the spare tire forward a bit so its inside the frame. Just bent up the rear floor and mounted the tire carrier on the flipped up bottom. Simple mod.

Trying to find slider switches for the light bar and i want to move all power switches into the cab interior.

I plan on doing a scale front stinger bumper and axial floorpan/wheel wells in the future. Truck is almost at a good stopping point.

I go out for a few hours a week and i really really love this truck. I want a wraith spawn but i need to stick with this for the scale fun.

Also, i made another mini course with some pretty technical tight space paths and lots of elevation changes this week:

Thx guys! It definitely is becoming unique....More changes:

Installed 4-link front susp:

Notched the support bar to clear the servo arm:

4-link flex:

Picked up a (pre-wired esc connectors) On/off slider switch for my light bar and winch. Mounted on my bench seat. Low profile and stealthy with easy access:

Went out for over an hour to my new spot next to my old spot. Its got loose sand, packed sand, dirt, mud, riverbed rocks & boulders. Some boulders are concreted in as well. Vast variety.

Had winch issues again.....ended up removing the winch and then decided to test it one more time....and it worked. It's back on but i cut the bumper again, flipped it with the winch tray platform to behind the bumper rail, notched the back to clear the upper batt tray bolt and moved the lights back as well. Now the bumper is flush and should provide me more angle to grab at rocks. I still want a stinger but i like this how it is as well for now:

Bobbed the back. Reused frame pieces and things on hand for a free setup. Rear corners were getting hung up on rocks. This works MUCH better.

My custom welded front bumper should be made soon. I need it for these rocks.

Other than that this this is just running perfectly

Steering linkeage finally went. Went to an aluminum bar. This truck is still fun and EASY!

Also, i went back to a songle 2100 3s venom pack up front. I ise the trays for light bar battery and anything else i need to haul. The mud slingers are great for lose stuff and mud, but the ripsaws go on for rocks. Lighter and grippier setup. I did wear out a driveshaft pin on the front. It crumbled. I am running a cut section of a body clip in there now. Yhey are hardened and i bet it stays put for a long time.

My led's stopped working....will work on getting them back up soon as well. It is just a veey fun rig to play with.

This truck looks great. Do you have any rear pictures of the bobbed bed?

Here are some of the Bobbed rear end. The frame rails have about 1/2" removed just in case you are wondering. P

I finally got to work on the new scale track in the back yard. I cleared out the old dirt pile that was completely overgrown and put it to good use. I added broken up cinder blocks and rocks and i got it pretty complete

Lots of elevation changes and terrain styles. Im diggin it!

went out with both for a quick run. the wraith is just crazy rock fun. the SCX is fun in the mud and for trailing. it never gets hot. id like to get a bettee motor for the wraith. the cheap one in it is working hard.

i left the mud tires at home for the scx.....but i ended up not resisting the mud lol. its a ton of fun to go bogging and the truck stay cool. the velineon fan eorked well and stayed out of the mud. im happy with the setup. its just fun.

looks like after the last mud run the esc was hit. its been sporadic and not doing second set of beeps. i ordered a 1060 with drag brake thats waterproof. i really liked the AE-2 but i didnt realize it was that open. looks like it just got a buildup of gunk on the board.

hopefully this new esc is nice. the drag brake looks legit and simple to turn on for crawling and off for trails

mud tires are back on. i love the look of em, even if vertical climbs arent as good.

yes i really didnt like that top cage. i honestly only bobbed it because the hard corners were getting caught on the rocks. the back is now good for any terrain
im working on the front. overall its great tho!

the new hobbywing quikrun 1060 ESC is in. easy install, waterproof and small. the drag brake sticks hard too. if this bugger works im gonna pull the tekkin esc out of the wraith and put another one in it too.

i got in an rc4wd 45t for the wraith too. its in and seems to be good. time will tell.
