Only problem I see with these shafts is the "ears" where the cross pins/ joints connect the shaft and yolk will get egg shaped, loose, and sloppy when paired with a higher powered motor. At least that's what I've seen with similar style driveshafts.

That's one of the reasons why I asked if they are rebuildable.

This happened to my MIP's:

I bought a new part and they work as new again

That's exactly why I asked if the SSD drive lines are rebuildable. Buy a new part and your back in business.

The SSD drive lines look awesome, I suspect like every other SSD product they'll perform awesome as well. I've been 100% happy with every SSD part I've purchased.

If these drive lines were rebuildable I'd be all over them.

Min and max operating length would be Helpful, I know it says front/rear of scx-10. But there are 2 or 3 wheelbases for those. And those of us with custom wheelbases.

All I run is MIP, I tried some facs, and for a guy running a 100% stock scx10, they might just work fine. But they suck, and the quality control is not there..

However, I'd be willing to try some of these SSD's. Bet I could break one

The AX10 mips are $1 more than junfac from rpp. No reason to suggest junfac.

Other than diameter... The MIP are HUGE..

I've used the junfac with success before, I replaced all the pins though, I got a set that were made from glass.

What do you mean other than diameter? I fit then on my tf2 with help of a SS shorty shaft on the rear.

Since nobody had the max/min lengths for these I took a chance on them for my custom build. And of course, they were too long. Nothing a little hacking couldn't fix, but nonetheless it ws frustrating. Here's some photos for you:

fully collapsed 110mm end to end

They're sure nice though!!
