Well sold my old k5 and decided I couldn't be without a crawler so been setting this up slowly. I went with a 1980 Chevy Pickup. This is what I have in it so far.

SCX based
Axial aluminum Chubs
100mm King shocks
Axial ESC and motor
1.9 Rock beast
1.9 axial beadlocks
VP links
Hitec servo
MIP drive Shafts

I still need quite a bit .Going to either build or buy some sliders and front and rear bumpers and winch. But most of all happy to get back on the trail if I ever have time.

Added some rubber rear view mirrors to ad a little scale touch to the truck

Who sells 3D printed grills for these?

Was a little bored and really didn't like the side supports that come where the bed and the cab meet so I thought I'd build a small tool box to cover most of it. Came out pretty good for a quick build. Made out of thin wood sheer I had.

Looks good buddy.

You can add some detail with a fine Sharpie marker, bed lines door lines ect.

I was looking through my parts box and realized the JK bumper was almost a perfect fit just for now until I can up or build me some bumpers and sliders.

Default 1980 Chevy Pickup

Saw your question about a 3D grille. Scale By Chris makes some killer 3D printed parts. He actually made me a grille for mine and I already pinched my front end. Looks good, keep it coming!
