Well sold my old k5 and decided I couldn't be without a crawler so been setting this up slowly. I went with a 1980 Chevy Pickup. This is what I have in it so far. SCX based Axial aluminum Chubs 100mm King shocks Axial ESC and motor 1.9 Rock beast 1.9 axial beadlocks VP links Hitec servo MIP drive Shafts I still need quite a bit .Going to either build or buy some sliders and front and rear bumpers and winch. But most of all happy to get back on the trail if I ever have time. Added some rubber rear view mirrors to ad a little scale touch to the truck Last edited by THX_138; 06-13-2016 at 11:00 PM. |

| Yep it's proline. Who sells 3D printed grills for these? Was a little bored and really didn't like the side supports that come where the bed and the cab meet so I thought I'd build a small tool box to cover most of it. Came out pretty good for a quick build. Made out of thin wood sheer I had. Last edited by THX_138; 06-13-2016 at 11:01 PM. |

Looks good buddy. You can add some detail with a fine Sharpie marker, bed lines door lines ect. |

Looking good man I've got the same body on my ascender and ended up making my own grill out of styrene, made my own bumpers as well!! Here's the build thread if you're intersted: pobrockcrawler's Ascender Build (I'll delete the picture if you want, don't want to hi-jack your thread!!) |

Started working on a rear bumper . Will have to see how it comes out. Did a test fit. Closed in the ends. Last edited by 4X4 Freak; 04-27-2016 at 04:45 PM. |

Saw your question about a 3D grille. Scale By Chris makes some killer 3D printed parts. He actually made me a grille for mine and I already pinched my front end. Looks good, keep it coming!
