The connectors aren't the same??

The battery must be 40C its better??
Sorry, I was just thinking about my Deadbolt. The AE-2 still doesn't have the Deans plug(annoying, but that's just how Axial rolls) so you still need to swap it out, or get an adapter. The 40C is just my preferred version of the battery. It has a faster output speed than the 30C, which I find useful. The Zippy batteries come with some weird plug I'm not very familiar with called the XT60, which will not fit with the Deans. Again, annoying, but that's what you get when you have such a large market. I've just gotten pretty used to having to swap out connectors. On the plus side, you only have to do it once.

I've been running DEANs for so long it's become my preferred connectors. On the RPP site they have batteries already prewired with DEANs but the 3S ones are pricey (117 bucks for a 5000mah)

Adapters are a pain in the butt. They make the battery/esc wires too long with plug adapters.Pick a plug style and stick with it.Get a good soldering iron, heat shrink tubing and adapters of your choosing and start soldering.Batteries,ESC,and charge cords all need mating connectors/plugs.

You don't need most of what you're listing to "test the rig". Just need a 2s lipo and battery charger. Everything else comes with the RTR.

Might as well unbox it and start double checking that everything is nice and tight. Especially the driveshaft screws. Move the battery tray forward. There's a handful of free easy mods you can do while you wait for parts.

There's multiple threads that have great info. I moved the rx box to the back and put the battery in sideways where the rx box was. You can make your own links with all thread and tubing. I clearanced my crossmember where the servo arm was touching it but eventually just removed the crossmember completely. Swap the 3link to 4link(if you prefer). Do a lil search in here and you'll come across some good info.

Good day today, not raining, lets go to the park and play with the new toy!!

Yesterday, i bought more acessories for the replica and uner the hood also!

tools
hilift hood mount
taillight (need to buy the leds right?)
led bar KC HILITES 1.5"
4x kingshocks 110mm
ssd steering kit
tamiya spray blue

Was looking into the AXIAL SCX / JK 4 LINK CONVERSION KIT WITH STOCK AXLES, but i dunno if will fit the SSD D60 axle (if i in the future buy it) so, before i buy, would like to know if im doing it right...

Do i need anything else? strongest parts, batteries mount, shocks mount....

And still looking for the New Bright bodies...hard to find...

Will take some pictures in the park, and post here after!

Thanks!!

Pedro!
