4PLS Holmes hobbies esc

For the life of me I can't get my 4PLS to calibrate my Holmes hobbies esc. It find forward and reverse fine but just beeps and flashes trying to find neutral. Any help is appreciated.

adjust your neutral trim on the throttle channel until the lights go out. Won't go far enough? Try reversing the channel and try again.
