Update on the Truck:

Shocks: I finally figured them out. All the Viton rings worked except for the ones inside the reservoirs. I ordered about a hundred of the same size ones for the reservoir (3mm x 2mm)in Buna-N 70D, and finally, after a few tries, I got the Buna-N rings to not rip and cause leaks, and now the shocks perform as they should. That said, my final word for these shocks is that nobody should ever buy them. They leak by default, they are incredibly expensive, and IMO they don't really perform any different (enough for me to notice) than non-piggyback shocks.

I also go a Savox SW-1210SG servo because the stock Tactic failed (upon taking it apart, the one plastic gear in the whole gear chain was ground flat).

If I'd paid that much for upgraded shocks and then had to pay more for replacement rings, I'd be ticked! How are you dealing with it?

Originally I was very pissed about it and wanted to get rid of the shocks entirely, until I realized that selling them would inherently rip off whoever bought them because I would just pass the leaking problem onto the next person. After trying to fix them for a period of time, I became determined to fix the damn things once and for all because I had put so much time and money into them. Really though, I don't think I have completely gotten over it, and I'm still pretty angry with Proline for their design and pricing of this product.

It's kind of you to not resell them. I'd heard good things about them; too bad they had a bad batch. :(

I do know that the new ones have better sized o rings for the main bodies of the shocks (as proline informed me), but from my testing, it is impossible to install the stock reservoir x rings without a tear.
